Danetree becomes an RCVS Accredited Practice

In January 2007 Danetree became an RCVS Accredited Practice. We underwent a rigorous inspection by one of the inspectors appointed by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons covering all aspects of practice life from our cleanliness and hygiene standards to how we manage our clients’ records and prescriptions.

It involved a huge amount of work to get the practice ready; right down to rebuilding the surgical suite and wards at the Faringdon branch. Most of the planning and organisation was carried out by Emma Barnard, the Head Nurse at Faringdon, and the Partners would like to thank her for all her hard work over a grueling few months. We were doing most things that were required by the inspection standards but Emma made sure that we were doing them all by the book and just that little bit better.

So why do it? As the RCVS adverts say “We go behind the scenes so that you don’t have to”. This means that you, the clients, can be sure that we are operating to high standards of veterinary care, which in turn, means peace of mind for you and your family.
