Danetree Veterinary Surgeons is a dedicated small animal veterinary practice based in Wantage and Faringdon, Oxfordshire with clients throughout the whole of the Vale of the White Horse.
We were formed following the purchase of a long established practice in 1993 and then taken over by the Medivet Veterinary Group in October 2007. The practice achieved Tier 2 of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards in November 2006.
The Wantage branch at Elms Farmhouse, Grove Road opened in August 2002 following complete refurbishment to create a state of the art veterinary surgery housed within a beautiful Victorian brick building. This branch also acts as a referrals centre for dermatology with cases being referred in from up to 200 miles away to see our specialist.
The Faringdon branch at 14 Coxwell Road is the town’s main small animal practice. We were, until November 2004, a rural mixed practice who also treated farm animals and horses but we now concentrate solely on our clients’ pets treating everything from goats to gerbils.
Danetree is also a training practice for veterinary nurses providing a high level of support throughout each stage of a student’s training.
Do pop in for a chat if you’re passing or phone for an appointment if your animal needs to see one of our vets. Both of our surgeries are easily accessible with ample parking. We have extensive opening hours with consultations by appointment and are covered by a 24 hour emergency service.
